According to their transmission mode, structure and purpose, they are classified as follows:
1. According to the transmission form:
A. Mechanical drive cutting machine: It is an older machine.
B. Hydraulic drive cutting machine: It is a modern and universal cutting machine.
C. Fully automatic rolling opener: use the sandwich method to process the whole piece of leather or textiles.


 
D. Computer controlled water beam cutting machine: It is a modern and more advanced cutting machine. It does not need to use a knife die and cuts according to the input program. The punching source is a high-pressure water jet generator.
E. Computer-controlled ultrasonic cutting machine: The control mode is similar to that of water beam cutting machine, and the punching source is an ultrasonic generator.

 

2. Classified according to structure:
A. Rocker-arm cutting machine: The punching part is a swingable rocker arm, which is suitable for punching non-metallic materials such as leather, natural materials and artificial leather.
B. Gantry cutting machine: The punching part is a punching head that can move left and right along the beam. The knife die can be fixed on the punching head or placed on the workpiece. The punch of the large, computer-controlled gantry opener is equipped with a rotatable die frame, which can be typeset according to the program, and the corresponding tool can be selected; of course, an automatic feeding mechanism should be equipped accordingly.
C. Plane opener: The difference between it and the gantry opener is that the beam is directly punched and there is no movable punching head. Flat cutting machines are further divided into two categories: fixed beams or beams that can move forward and backward, and table slides that can move forward and backward.
D. Four-column precision cutting machine: double-cylinder, four-column automatic balance connecting rod structure.

 
3. According to the purpose of processing parts:
A. Special cutting machine: a blister cutting machine suitable for blister processing.
B. Horizontal opener: suitable for processing tire materials.
